WEB SERVICES

The Linkcare SOAP web services set provides a mean to access and update Linkcare objects in the local Linkcare server or in a remote Linkcare server.

Linkcare web services are divided into the following categories:

• CLINICAL WEB SERVICES — Clinical data services store and exchange clinical information on cases. A Linkcare’s case is a reference to an anonymous person. Linkcare maintains a list of associated identifiers that point to one or more health care information systems to retrieve the personal data. However, the personal data itself is not stored in Linkcare, and each user access to such data is retrieved from the related source in real time, passing the user’s credentials for that particular source. • LIBRARY WEB SERVICES — Services allowing access to Linkcare’s clinical library objects. The main library objects are the programs templates, the protocol templates, the task templates and form templates

• ORGANISATION WEB SERVICES — Services providing organisation information on a particular team, such as team members (users and teams) and member's roles. It also supports a list of external sources that can be addressed from one center.
• REPORT WEB SERVICES
• SESSION WEB SERVICES — Services used for session persistence acknowledgement. The store the session user authentication data and the preferences associated to the session, such as the active center, the active language and the active user’s role.
• SETTINGS WEB SERVICES
• SYSTEM WEB SERVICES — Services designed to provide system parameters, such as language lists, multilingual descriptions, roles, source references, etc. System services are the only ones that don’t require a session parameter, nor a resource locator, as they reference to common platform resources.
